Entry and Workplace Requirements
Academic access
- A recognised NQF Level 4 qualification granting access to further studies at the required level.
- Applicants must satisfy the provider’s applicable admission and registration requirements.
Workplace access
- Access to an appropriate compliance workplace or function.
- Suitable workplace supervision or mentoring arrangements.
- Opportunity to complete and verify prescribed workplace tasks.
Recommended capabilities
- Basic understanding of the South African legal environment.

Course Delivery
The qualification is delivered through a blended learning approach over approximately 18 months. Consequently, learners must manage formal learning, practical assignments and workplace evidence throughout the programme.
- Knowledge component: approximately 600 notional hours.
- Practical skills component: approximately 600 notional hours.
- Work experience component: approximately 1,200 notional hours.
- Total: 2,400 notional hours aligned to 240 credits.
Furthermore, scheduled sessions, assessment dates, workplace-evidence deadlines and support arrangements will be communicated through the relevant programme channel.

Assessment and Certification
Learners must successfully complete the knowledge, practical skills and workplace experience components. In addition, all required evidence must be found competent and properly verified.
Successful completion of the internal curriculum requirements may provide access to the External Integrated Summative Assessment, subject to QCTO and Assessment Quality Partner requirements.
Finally, the occupational certificate is issued only after the learner successfully completes the prescribed EISA and all applicable certification requirements.

New enrolment, registration, teach-out and EISA eligibility are therefore subject to the applicable QCTO arrangements and confirmation by Nkwali Training Consultants before registration is finalised.
